CONSAL XIX 2025 Participation Grant and Student Participation Grant by The Malaysian Librarians Association (PPM)

The Malaysian Librarians Association (PPM) have offered two Grant Programme for both their members and students in the Information Science and Library field and submission of applications related to the grant is as follows:

Application Deadline: 15 March 2025

Application Decision Date: 31 March 2025

Interested PPM members and students can send their application by the assigned date to geranconsalahlippm@gmail.com.

The application for the ‘Participation Grant’ and ‘Student Participation Grant’ is open to paid PPM Members for the year 2024 & 2025 and PPM Lifetime Members, limited to 50-PPM members in Malaysia only and to 50 students majoring in Information Science and Library at the Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral levels from local universities.

The Grant is in the form of payment of the conference fees and any additional costs such as accommodation, transportation, meals and library visit fees are borne by the applicants.

PPM Participation Grants offers an opportunity for the awarded members and students to join and acquire the international experience with regional librarians at CONSAL XIX!

Malaysia’s Libraries Invited to Participate in the CONSAL XIX 2025 Library Boulevard Poster Competition

Kuala Lumpur, March 2025 – The CONSAL XIX 2025 Library Boulevard Poster Competition is event being held in conjunction with the 19th CONSAL General Conference & Meeting (2025). This exciting competition is exclusively open to libraries in Malaysia and aims to showcase innovations, products, and services within the library sector.

Competition Details

  • Participation is free for all Malaysian libraries.
  • Each library may submit more than one poster.
  • Posters must be printed in English and focus on library-related innovations or services.
  • The format required is a roll-up bunting (850mm x 2000mm).
  • Participants must print their own posters, which be displayed from June 16–18, 2025 at the event venue.

Attractive Cash Prizes

Winners will receive cash prizes along with certificates of recognition:
🥇 First Place: RM500 + Certificate
🥈 Second Place: RM400 + Certificate
🥉 Third Place: RM300 + Certificate
🏅 Fourth Place: RM200 + Certificate
🏅 Fifth Place: RM100 + Certificate

The deadline for poster submission is May 31, 2025. Interested libraries can register by scanning the QR code on the competition poster and filing out the Google Form.
